Spider Vein Therapy is used on superficial red or blue veins of the legs. This treatment is done by injecting a sclerosing agent into the tiny spider veins of the legs. A careful history and physical are obtained during your initial consultation to insure you are a good candidate for this treatment.

 

Sclerotherapy is a safe procedure after it is confirmed you have no contraindications for treatment. After treatment, that takes between 30-60 minutes, you will be required to wear support hose for a specific time period. Results are not immediate. Within 4-6 weeks you will see the improvement of appearance of the legs. A succession of treatments may be deemed necessary.
